Blast that Opiates Addiction!

By Vera Espana

Welcome back friend! Last I wrote, we talked about Alcohol addiction and I gave you a few power filled crystals to aid you on your road to recovery. I hope it helped to ease the stress and the strain on making your way to a healthy lifestyle. You did it!

Gosh, where do I start with this crisis we, as a whole, have been having with opiates and its challenges. As I mentioned in the last article, the energy of planets dancing around you has been challenging! Then we have the energy of your individual Life Chart and ‘BAM’ it can be overwhelming.

Being human now can be stressful and some have been self-medicating just to make it through the week, then before you know it, they are dealing with a monster called addiction. Some people are dealing with legitimate pain and are given medication, not realizing they’re on the road to addiction or watching helplessly as a loved one is going down that spiral of a well.

I was in your shoes at one point!

My doctor put me on Vicodin for my back issues/arthritis around 20 years ago. OMG!! When I first took the medication, the relief was amazing! Little did I know the drug did nothing to address your pain, it just makes you feel happy. WTF??? Doctors assured me Vicodin wasn’t habit forming, which I’m sure most were told the same thing. In a short amount of time, you realize one pill a day doesn’t bring relief anymore, so you take two a day and on and on it goes. I didn’t go to my doctor to wean myself off the drug; I did it cold turkey, which I DO NOT recommend! It was pure hell (and can be dangerous to your health), but I knew I couldn’t be dependent on this evil drug any longer. I utilized crystals and my spiritual tools to help me get through the process of getting control of my life again.

The first step is to know you have a problem. Reach out to your physician and/or mental health professional to decide the best care for you. Reach out to trusted loved ones or friends to help you to maintain your path to sobriety!

You can also utilize spiritual tools to aid in your recovery/sobriety along with your health care professional’s plan. You can utilize the energy of Light to guide your recovery, such as Purple Light for rightful thinking, White Light for protection, Green Light for healing! You can say a little prayer in the morning and visualize the lights around you throughout the day. If it’s challenging to visualize, then give it to your Spirit Guide /Angels to do it for you. Don’t make it hard, just saying it makes it so!

For me, I used Amethyst, I call it my “go to” power crystal! I placed a rough-cut Amethyst under my bed and always carried a tumbled amethyst with me. (If you can’t place your crystal under the bed, the nightstand works just as well.) Remember its intent! In my experience and belief, Crystal has energy and it’s YOU my friend who places the intent and the power in your crystals.

You can also utilize crystal energy to aid in your quest for living your best life …sober. In my experience and belief, crystals hold energy or vibrations if you will, that merge with our power and

energy, which helps us feel more balanced emotionally and helps us vibrate at a higher level.

You can place crystals throughout your home, in your purse/pocket/bra etc., so we can feel and see the crystals and be reminded daily of the crystal’s benefits. Empowering!

I encourage you to meditate with your crystal to be one with the power and energy it offers you.

So more about Amethyst, is the go-to crystal for addiction period.

Back in the day, Greeks used Amethyst to prevent them from becoming drunk. If fact, amethyst translates to “not drunk.” But amethyst is much more. It can offer relief from negativity, and initiates wisdom and greater understanding. Amethyst is a natural tranquilizer it can soothe stress, irritability, and anxiety. It is a powerful stone of comfort and helps us connect with the Universe.

If Amethyst doesn’t float your boat, discover a crystal you do resonate with. Remember, you are the one with the power to discern which crystal is right for you!

Remember to carry a tumbled crystal of your choice with you and place it in a room in your home where you can see it often. Also, you can place your fave crystal under your bed for more comfort while you sleep.

Here are a few more crystals you can use to help you besides amethyst:

Selenite, soothes immense mental and physical pain during recovery, Rose Quartz and/or Hiddenite opens the heart chakra to divine love,

Carnelian power to break bad habits, Hematite clears negative energy and balances meridians.

Larry was experiencing some side effects from the radiation last month but it’s under control now and he is feeling good.

He has blood work at the end of June and hopefully his PSA is staying low and everything else is in range.

I hope you are doing well Vera.

You look great.

Vera,

Thanks so much for your information. Vicodin if used without being weaned off can be addictive. It is a Codeine derivative. So your information is very needed. I know doctors mean well and are trying to make people better. But Codeine is an addictive substance. It helps relive pain but it is a substance that is addictive. Vicodin which is a child of Codeine will also be that way.

In 1973 in the fall I had a wisdom tooth extraction which was very involved. I was prescribed Emprin with Codeine for pain relief. It was for a short term treatment. I didn't like taking aspirin. My mom asked me if I wanted her to administer the medication. I was…

James!

Thank you my friend! Idk what I would do without our Gnostic philosophy.💜

With my bouts of so many surgeries last year, I did it with out the “heavy duty” drugs and used Tylenol to take the edge off. After 3 surgeries in a row it was no small feat to deal with the pain! Lol

Our spiritual tools to the rescue!!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and that of your precious mom.

Many Blessings V💜🤗💜
