Love Is Respect –National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline

Highly-trained advocates offer support, information and advocacy to young people who have questions or concerns about their dating relationships. Tips to help teens identify and break away from dating abuse, learn what a healthy relationship is, and tools to gain empowerment.

They also provide information and support to concerned friends and family members, teachers, counselors, service providers and members of law enforcement. Free and confidential phone, live chat and texting services are available 24/7/365.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

The National Domestic Violence Hotline has been the vital link to safety for women, men, children and families affected by domestic violence. With the help of dedicated advocates and staff, they respond to calls 24/7, 365 days a year.
They provide confidential, one-on-one support to each caller and chatter, offering crisis intervention, options for next steps and direct connection to sources for immediate safety. Their database holds over 5,000 agencies and resources in communities all across the country. 

National Runaway Switchboard
1-800-RUN-AWAY (786-2929)

Provides support and resources to youth who have run away or are considering. Teens can call 24 hours a day just to talk or for referrals to shelter, food, medical assistance or counseling. 

Healing Combat Trauma
Therapeutic resources (extensive articles and books) for veterans with combat-based Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder ("PTSD"), focused on integrative medicine and hope.

Works to prevent wrongful deportations of refugee families who have come to the United States fleeing unspeakable violence. They provide rapid response legal services to community members in moments of crisis, including deportation, detention, and raids. ASAP uses technology to connect thousands of formerly detained refugees across the country, including isolated areas.
